Description

The project will involve a full refurbishment the existing galleries on the 1st floor of the Science Museum to create a new suite of Medicine Galleries.
We are currently procuring an enabling works and strip out package which will take place prior to the main refurbishment works. The aim of this package is to a completely strip out the existing space, revealing the existing building structure and de-risking the project.
The scope of works will include:
- Refurbishment and demolition survey of the space
- Asbestos removal
- Partitions/internal walls strip out
- Display cases strip out and associated services
- Ceiling strip out
- Installation of hoarding to gallery atrium
- Services strip out and isolation.
- Validation / investigation works as required by the museum for the main works
