Description

NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board (DDICB) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to express interest in delivering Safe Haven Chesterfield & Crisis Houses in Derby and Chesterfield services by responding to this opportunity as required and described in the published tender documentation. NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) is acting as an agent for and on behalf of the Commissioner and is supporting the procurement process.

The Procurement Process is described within the documentation published. This Procurement has been advertised in accordance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) (the "Regulations") to the extent that the Regulations relate to services within the scope of Schedule 3 thereto (Social and Other Specific Services). The Commissioner and AGCSU are, therefore, bound only by those parts of the Regulations applying to Schedule 3 services (also known as the "Light Touch Regime").

The procurement is spilt into 3 lots. Bidders may bid for one, all or any combination of the 3 lots:

Lot 1 - Safe Haven in Chesterfield / North Derbyshire:
The service will be situated in Chesterfield/ the North of Derbyshire in a fixed and accessible location that maximises access across the Derby and Derbyshire footprint. Whilst based in Chesterfield, this service will be open and accessible to anyone living in Derby and Derbyshire.

Lot 2 - Crisis House in Chesterfield / North Derbyshire:
The service will focus on service provision in the area of Chesterfield / North Derbyshire in a fixed and accessible location that however maximises access across the Derby and Derbyshire footprint. Whilst based in Chesterfield, this service will be open and accessible to anyone living in Derby and Derbyshire.

Lot 3 - Crisis House in Derby City:
The service will focus on service provision in the area of Derby City in a fixed and accessible location that however maximises access across the Derby and Derbyshire footprint. Whilst based in Derby, this service will be open and accessible to anyone living in Derby and Derbyshire.

As a result of this procurement exercise an agreement will be established with the successful Bidder(s) for an initial term of 3 years with the option to extend for a further period of 2 years, subject to assured performance and system wide evaluation demonstrating positive cost and impact. The successful provider is expected to be fully operational, providing services from 1st July 2023.
