Description

Following the Indicative award of Funding from the Department of Transport for Bus Service Improvements, the Highway service is seeking assistance with the introduction of the legal process of an Enhanced Partnership with Bus Operators, requiring the formation of a Board, with voting and with external influence but not voting on the improvements to be implemented.
The DfT will be moving towards the change in 2025 when the current registration with DfT moves to local authorities, the changes may require the alteration of service type and linked to tendered services.
Highway Services are seeking call off advice and support and therefore the need is for a team to be available that they can call upon to support their work and ensure they deliver with operators the service improvements and quality required
