Description

We are seeking a supplier to deliver new research that identifies, evaluates and collates relevant trends that may impact the screen sector in the future. This process (a 'horizon scanning' exercise) requires looking beyond the immediate future to pose questions that will help the UK's screen sectors to determine how they think about the future (for example, by looking across the political, economic, social, technological, environmental, legal, public funding and audience landscapes) across the next 5-10 years, and to help us to understand what evidence is required in order to ensure that screen sector policy and strategy is informed by a future-looking evidence base that looks beyond the sectors themselves for the factors that will provide opportunities or challenges for future change. This research must also provide a global outlook. The outputs of the horizon scanning exercise should be a set of questions which will enable the UK's screen sectors to think about the wider implications and context in which they will be operating in 5-10 years' time.
