Description

Peterborough is a thriving metropolitan city at the heart of rural East England, bridging the Cambridgeshire, Rutland, Lincolnshire, and Northamptonshire borders.

The Vine is an exceptionally well-located city centre site. It comprises two former retail units, TK Maxx and New Look, located at 62-68 Bridge Street, Peterborough, PE11DT. The Vine is opposite the Asda Superstore and close to the Rivergate Shopping Centre, Peterborough's new University Campus and the Town Hall; it is readily accessible by public transport.

The two units have recently been purchased by Peterborough City Council (PCC) and constitute 89,000 sq ft of internal floor space over ground, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. PCC have secured funding to develop this asset into a new, mixed-use hub which delivers against social and economic priorities.

PCC intends to procure and appoint a suitably skilled and experienced operator for The Vine who will develop and deliver these services and outcomes over the long-term. PCC also intends to identify and establish a selection of key tenants within the mix of uses, where there is a clear fit with PCC's ambitions for the Vine and a sustainable commercial arrangement can be found.
