Description

This is an early engagement notice to gain market knowledge and shape the specification for a future procurement opportunity for the provision of PPE for Defra Group.

In brief, the requirement is for clothing and safety equipment for all 33 agencies associated with Defra group and includes Environment Agency, APHA, Natural England as examples.

Defra Group is looking for to explore the market and in particular looking for innovation and sustainable options for the broad range of items that are required to support its agencies in a wide variety of environments and conditions.

Defra is exploring options that include the supply of clothing and equipment and also the provision of ancillary services to support the businesses that require them. This may include mending, laundry, recycling end of life items etc.
