Description
Newark and Sherwood District Council are currently developing a series of sites over the next 2-3 years. We are looking to appoint an engineer to undertake site feasibilities, searches and design of civils, utilities and structural works for the next phase of the HRA Build Programme plus additional one-off sites as required over a 12 month period then progress pre-contract services to obtain Planning consent and Principal Constructor information on a series of sites. The post-contact service is not included within this Appointment. We do, however require data to be produced for Principal Construction and we do anticipate the architect will be novated over to the construction framework partner for the construction phase of the project.
This Appointment is to undertake the pre-contract services for a period of 12 months. It is anticipated that this will be for circa 50-100 dwellings on a range of sites. Some may only contain 1 or 2 units. The sites are likely to be mostly 1 and 2 bed units of bungalow, house or apartment design of 1, 2 or 3 storeys.
Full site surveys and topographical surveys will be required as part of the design process.
