Description

The City of London Corporation seeks to ensure that innovative, person centred, services are part of the solution to enabling people who are rough sleeping in the Square Mile to not only move away from the streets towards secure accommodation but to do so in a way which is responsive to their support needs and will equip them with the skills and abilities to sustain a life away from the streets. It is our ambition that all our residents, including rough sleepers, live longer, happier, healthier lives.

We are currently seeking a provider to deliver an overnight assessment and support service for a limited period across the winter for those found rough sleeping within the Square Mile. The service will be based within a building in the City of London; this has been sourced by the corporation and, as such, the provider is only asked to implement staffing and systems to deliver the service.

The service will assess rough sleepers and work rapidly, holistically and safely to support individuals away from the street and into accommodation.

The service will operate from the agreed contract start date. Delivery must cover a period of at least a total of 20 weeks of operation from the contract start date.

Providers are required to set out their costs for delivering a service that meets this brief.

If you would like to bid for this opportunity, you must be registered on the Capital E Sourcing tendering portal. (prj_COL_15610 - Winter Assessment Service)
