Description

The Contracting Authority seeks to appoint a filmmaker-in-residence to follow life and work in Ebbsfleet as it evolves. The filmmaker will be responsible for capturing local opinion and key events and editing them into a set of documentary style films. The films should highlight a wide variety of projects, subjects, people, activities and viewpoints in a documentary style film of c.10-12 minutes and a 2-3 minute
summarised version in each year. The films should celebrate Ebbsfleet as a vibrant place to live whilst also acknowledging the challenges of new developments and regeneration projects. The films will be widely shared on social media to stakeholders, residents and the wider built environment and community sectors, and used to showcase life and developments in Ebbsfleet. Along with existing films made over the last four years, the content will form part of an archive resource for the garden city for future research and posterity. It will leave a legacy that other new towns, cities, and communities can learn from.
