Description

Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced main contractors for the Works to Refurbish 15 Flats in Townsend House, 66-68 Bath Road, Swindon. THIS IS A DESIGN AND BUILD CONTRACT. Full details relating to the Services and Works are provided in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents attached The project is to refurbish six 1 bedroomed flats and nine 2 bedroom flats, including the installation of a lift and the update of the façade of the building to fit in with the street scene. This is a competitive tender, and a contract will be awarded to the organisation that is deemed to represent the most economical and advantageous tender. The tender documents are included within this webpage as 'Contract Attachments'. Please note that the Planning Consent, Contract Sum Analysis, Asbestos and Drain surveys will be attached shortly. Tenders are required to be submitted no later than 12 noon GMT, 5 November 2015, using the addressed label attached (within the ITT document). Clarifications to the Contract Attachments may be submitted up to 12 noon GMT Thursday, 29 October 2015 by email to msrose@swindon.gov.uk. Clarification responses will only be uploaded as further Contract Attachments to this webpage on a regular basis, therefore, please check this site on a regular basis as you will not be advised when updates have been made.
