Description

The Oxford Health Charity (charity number 1057285) sits alongside the Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and provides charitable funding for projects and activities which enhance the experience of patients, families, carers and staff across the Trust services. Income for the Charity comes through legacies, fundraising and donations to specific services.

The Charity is managed through a Charity Committee made up of Trustees from within the Trust Executive and Non-Executive teams and the administration of day to day finances is managed by an external organisation, Kingston Smith. The main capital of the Charity is managed through a separate Investment Portfolio and this is the service that is being tendered for.

The annual income of the Charity sits at approximately £300,000 with expenditure varying depending on projects but usually in excess of the income.

The current portfolio sits at approximately £1.1 million. This may increase dependent on the addition of a restricted fund not currently invested, however, this is subject to trustee approval.

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust (The Authority) is seeking a supplier with appropriate relevant experience of managing the investment funds of an NHS or simliar charity and that is authorised by the PRA or the FCA to provide the services required. Further eligibility and other requirements are detailed in the tender documents.
