Description

The Trust will be looking to enter into a partnership with a Training Provider who will help us develop a nationally-recognised work force development programme that forms part of and complements the Trusts overall talent strategy. This will include support packages for academies to include both the use of apprenticeships and also standalone qualifications. In terms of practical examples, the Training Provider should provide:

• Apprenticeship framework support for administration, sports coaching and support facilities for example through business administration.
• Apprenticeship framework support for leaders within our organisation through leadership development programmes
• Support for teaching assistants and higher level teaching assistants funded on a commercial basis or through an Advanced Learner Loan.

We will also be looking to the Training Provider to deliver apprenticeship standards, thus delivering new management qualifications (from May 2017) that are eligible to be used under the apprenticeship levy.
This should also include the development of the new apprenticeship standard for higher level teaching assistants.
