Description

The objective of this project is to determine the efficiency improvements that Highways England should be capable of making through improvements to the way that the company manages its assets on the strategic road network during Road Period 2.
There are three main parts to this project. These are explained further in the tender document:
(1) A synthesis of recent assessments of Highways England's asset management capability;
(2) Establishing an improvement trajectory for Highways England's asset management capability to the end of Road Period 2; and,
(3) Determining the scope for efficiencies resulting from these improvements during Road Period 2.
