Description
The London Borough of Hackney has a statutory duty to ensure that "Looked After" children see their parents, former carers and members of their extended family as long as it is in their best interest to do so. The London Borough of Hackney is therefore seeking to work in partnership with a suitably qualified and experienced provider to deliver a supervised Contact Service for children and young people and their families.
The successful Provider will be required to be flexible and responsive to a diverse client base ensuring that children, young people and their families are at the heart of the services.
The contract will be for a period of three (3) years with the option to extend for a further two (2) years. The estimated total value over the five (5) year period is £3.665 million. It is intended that the new contract will commence in January 2020.
It is of key importance that the contract meets all requirements including reliability, quality, cost, and appropriate health safety measures.
