Description

Derby City Council is inviting tenders for the provision of Ecological Advice. The primary purpose of this advice is to inform planning development control decisions and decisions on allocations for development in documents in the City's emerging Local Plan. The primary service required by the Council will involve provision of information and advice with respect to Local Wildlife Sites and other sites where habitats and/or species of biodiversity interest may be present, which are subject to planning applications, Local Plan allocations or other development proposals. The Council also requires the successful tenderer to be responsible for the maintenance of a robust, high quality Local Wildlife Sites System for the City using the existing Wildlife Sites System used county-wide.
