Description

New Housing Electrical Repairs & Periodic Testing Service for Council and Social housing, which may include some council buildings. Most repairs will be Electrical Repairs involving Call out, Communal Repairs, some upgrades etc. The scope requires all electrical contractors to undertake the works as listed below:
Day to Day responsive repairs.
Emergency call out and make safe.
Upgrade works.
Rewires.
Communal works.
Communal Upgrading.
Smoke alarm installations within domestic properties.
Emergency lighting upgrades.
Emergency lighting repairs.
Emergency lighting testing.
EICR5 yearly inspection with domestic and communal properties.

Experience in some or all of the areas identified below:
1. Day to Day responsive repairs.
2. Emergency Call out and make safe.
3. Upgrade works.
4. Rewires.
5. Communal works.
6. Communal upgrading.
7. Smoke alarm installations within domestic properties.
8. Emergency lighting upgrades.
9. Emergency lighting repairs.
10. Emergency lighting testing.
11. EICR-5 yearly inspection with domestic and communal properties.
and as detailed in the above 1-11 being undertaken using NHF appointments and Organisations or Consortia would need to be registered as an approved contractor with the NICEIC or the ECA and have Part P approval as a domestic installer. All works will require photographic evidence before and after works completed.

Contract will be a minimum period of 2 years (24 months) and then maybe extended at the discretion of the authority for 3no additional 1 year (12 month) periods to an overall maximum of 5 years, based upon supplier performance and competitive pricing as will be reviewed at the time of the renewal.

The number of candidates to be Invited to Tender will be Maximum number of 10, based upon Scoring Technical responses to PQQ & SQ questionnaire (top 10 best scores).
