Description
LOT 1 - APPOINTMENT OF AGENTS FOR THE RUNCORN VISION MASTERPLAN AREA
The Council is undertaking a regeneration project in Runcorn as result of the delinking of roads around the Silver Jubilee Bridge following the opening of the Mersey Gateway Bridge. A masterplan has been commissioned from We Made That LLP leading a consortium of Regeneris, Steer Davies Gleave and PRD and is anticipated that the Council will have to acquire strategic parcels of land and undertake a subsequent disposal programme to fulfil the objectives of the masterplan.
The Council is seeking to appoint consultants to provide development consultancy and general property advice to facilitate the redevelopment strategy supporting the objectives of the master plan and related properties and issues.
LOT 2 - APPOINTMENT OF AGENTS FOR THE LAND AT KINGSWAY AND MOOR LANE PROJECT AREA
The Council is undertaking a regeneration project in Widnes for the Kingsway and Moor Lane areas shown on the attached plan edged red and related properties and issues.
A development option paper has been prepared Kingsway Development Opportunities Feb 2018 has been prepared by Perfect Circle and Scape Procure. As part of the plan the acquisition of Broseley House has been completed and the demolition of the police station. Although not part of the Kingsway Development Opportunities the area around Moor Lane has been identified as having potential for related activities.
The Council is seeking to appoint consultants to provide development consultancy and general property advice to facilitate the redevelopment strategy supporting the objectives of the redevelopment areas.
