Description

The council is procuring a Regulation 44 Service for Cumbria's Children's Homes. The overall aim of this service is for the provider to undertake Regulation 44 visiting and reporting for each of the council's children's homes on behalf of the council, in line with statutory requirements, relevant guidance and any updates to these. The council has the responsibility to ensure that its children's homes provide high quality care and accommodation to children looked after. Children's residential homes are subject to Ofsted requirements, Quality Care Standards and Statutory Regulations. The service provided will work with the council to ensure that high standards are maintained.
