Portsmouth City Council's (PCC's) Education Service is seeking to procure an Education Management Information System (preferably web-hosted), to provide a core database of establishment and pupil information, case management capability and other specific functionality as outlined in the background section that follows.

PCC intends to undertake market consultation with suitably experienced suppliers, to explore options for the service from which a procurement strategy can be developed.
