Description

Worcestershire County Council invite suitable, qualified and experienced Arboricultural Contractors to carry out Tree Surveys & Inspections and Maintenance on behalf of Worcestershire County Council.
The contract will run for an initial term of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 12 months.

Anticipated start date: 01st November 2021

The successful suppliers will need to demonstrate a commercially competitive model that will demonstrate a commercial, environmental and innovative approach that would be of benefit to the Authority whilst maintaining the highest levels of safety.
The purpose of the contract is to enhance the environment and ensure that trees on the council estate are well managed, in particular to:

Lot 1 Tree Inspections Surveys - Pro-active Tree Management
o minimise the risk to persons and property
o increase bio-diversity and minimise the adverse effects of maintenance activities on the environment

Lot 2 Tree Maintenance & Reactive Callouts
o trees are maintained in a healthy vigorous condition through a pro-active inspection and maintenance regime
o increase bio-diversity and minimise the adverse effects of maintenance activities on the environment

We are seeking to appoint either a sole contractor to deliver both Lots or separate contractors for each. Each of these contractors must be appropriately experienced and employ staff that has the correct level of qualifications and industry specific experience.

It is on this basis that we invite suitable consultants and contractors to provide a full turn-key contract compliant quotation, to deliver this contract within set time scales.
