NOTE: This notice was updated on 31 January 2022 for the following reason: Submission deadline extended to 5pm on Wednesday 2nd February 2022(Technical analysis or consultancy services. Birmingham Organising Committee for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Ltd (OC) invites you to tender for the provision of Carbon Neutral Legacy Verification Consultant Services. The OC requires an experienced Consultant to provide support in delivering the different stages of the Games' journey towards carbon neutrality. At a high level, the Scope of Works includes:
•Validation of the carbon footprint methodology against best practice standards (pre-event).
•Validation of the carbon management plan and verification of the second reference carbon footprint, against best practice standards (pre-event)
•Verification of the final carbon footprint against best practice standards (post-event)
•Relevant communications and reporting support to ensure a credible and impactful narrative.
•Assessment of the credibility of the Games' approach to ensuring a carbon neutral legacy.)
