Description

Elmbridge Borough Council is currently in the process of developing a new Local Plan for the period to 2035. This document will replace the existing Core Strategy and will set out the level of development required over this period and will include sites for allocation. The Council is seeking to engage experienced consultants to produce a two staged Viability Assessment to inform the development of the Local Plan and also as a sound evidence base to inform any future review of the adopted CIL charging schedule. Stage one will need to consider whole plan viability by assessing the impact of policy requirements on development viability. This will include testing different affordable housing thresholds. The second stage of work is required to assess viability on potential key strategic sites.
