Description
ESPO will shortly be seeking to put in place a framework to provide a toxicology testing service for Pathologists on behalf of H.M. Coroner. There is also the potential requirement to include other testing services required by Public Sector bodies. Organisations wishing to participate in the forthcoming supplier engagement, are invited to express an interest by emailing c.muir@espo.org quoting ESPO reference number 3057_16. The main purpose of the supplier engagement will be to help shape the scope and structure of the new framework. Please note that an eAuction process may be used to award subsequent call off contracts following the reopening of competition among the parties to the framework agreement.
This is a notice for social services in accordance with Directive 2014/24/EU Article 74. Type of services - Health and Social Services. Whilst initially for use by Leicestershire County Council, Lincolnshire C.C. and Nottingham City the framework will also be open to use by other classifications of user, as listed below, on a National basis.
As a Central Purchasing Body as defined by the EU Procurement Directive 2014/24/EU, the Framework Agreement is open for use by the following classifications of user throughout all administrative regions of the UK: Local Authority Councils; Educational Establishments (including Academies); Central Government Departments and Agencies and LocalGovernment Departments and Agencies; Police, Fire & Rescue and Coastguard Emergency Services; NHS and HSC Bodies, including Ambulance Services; Registered Charities; Registered Social Landlords; Any Public Body established by or under the Scotland Act 1998 or any Act of the Scottish Parliament.
