Description

1. The Authority will pay the Contractor an agreed sum for the provision of a security service, which will include an appropriate number of unarmed guards, with relevant training and experience, to control access to the various sites listed below.
2. The Contractor will provide security service on a 24 hour basis, throughout the contract period in order to prevent unauthorised access to the premises. The guards will also be expected to carry out other security-related tasks, as specified by the Authority's Representative. The Contractor's Supervisor/Manager will report to the Authority's Representative. Day-to-day supervision of the guard force is the direct responsibility of the Contractor's Manager/Supervisor.

3. The Contractor shall comply with The International Code of Conduct for Private Security Companies and Private Security Service Providers in the promotion of high standards of conduct by private security companies and private security service providers.

4. The Service Provider will meet standards equivalent to those contained in the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Service Providers.
