Description

The Environment Agency is responsible for managing the Heavy Metals monitoring network for the UK. The purpose of the Network is to determine the ambient concentrations of Heavy Metals in the UK atmosphere through monitoring and chemical analysis to ensure the UK complies with the Heavy Metal related provisions of the European Union's Air Quality Directive (2008/50/EC) and 4th Air Quality Daughter Directive (2004/107/EC) and any subsequent revisions and the Air Quality Strategy Objectives for Heavy Metals.

The requirements of this contract is to seek a contractor who will operate and manage the Environment Agency's Heavy Metal monitoring network sites and analyse samples collected.
