Description

The Contractor will need to carry out a detailed feasibility report for the replacement of the East Wing switchboard.
•Establish locations for data logging to measure power consumption.
•Undertake a detailed site survey to establish the load centres save and the address and destination of all associated LV cables.
•Establish size of current conductors and assess load characteristics to confirm compliance with current BS7671.
•Map all cable routs into and out of the switch room including containment.
•Develop a changeover philosophy and plan that enables service to be maintained to minimise shutdowns.
•Consider the phasing of the works and execution.
•Produce design intent drawings.
•Provide an indicative programme of the works.
•Provide an indication of cost based around actual estimates for the work to provide accurate and reliable forecasts
•Draw together all facets of the feasibility study into a single document with detailed sections and appendices for all specialist input and associated details.
