Description

1.1
Lot 1

The Good Hope Hospital Boiler House is located in the middle of the Hospital site supplying steam to plant rooms across site. It is critical to the day to day running of the Hospital providing heating and hot water to all departments and wards.

Within the Boiler House there is a Dorman Smith Electrical switch board that has been in service 35+ years. Due to being located within the boiler house it is at risk of being exposed to water leaks

1.2
Lot 2

The A&E Switch panel is located on the roof of A&E within the Plantroom. The panel supplies A&E Minors, Majors, Resus, Paediatrics A&E and OPD.

The trust would like to improve the resilience of this Critical Switch Board by installing an additional switch board supplied from an alternative source with manual change over facility to dual feed critical Distribution boards and equipment.

The Trust would prefer to issue both Lots to one Contractor however We will be able to award Lots independently if we feel it to be beneficial to the Trust.
