Description

Supply of Sonic Anemometer equipment for the TRAIN Rig


The University of Birmingham invites tenders for the supply of the following:
Sonic Anemometers
o A number of sonic anemometers required to produce time histories of three dimensional velocities within the TRAIN Rig building and at field sites (typically trackside).
o Velocities in the range of 0 to 40m/s, with an accuracy of 0.2m/s, at a sampling rate of 100 samples / sec.
o The anemometer head size to be smaller than 0.25 m x 0.25 m x 0.25 m for use in certain applications.
o Quotes will be provided for 5, 10 and 15 anemometers, including any discounts for multiple purchases.
o All necessary power supplies and cables must be provided.
o A training package must be provided for a group of users

Support and service help

A reliable service package is required to ensure the full upkeep and efficiency of the product. This can range from service care contracts for durations after installation to warranties for equipment and what they include. This also will include all technical support and training as well as potential application requirements in the future. The suppliers will agree to provide operational support for the duration of the paid for service contract.
