Description

The University has a procurement opportunity for the supply of Oscilloscopes for one of its department.

The University of Southampton (University) is interested in acquiring 120 Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes (instrument) to enhance the capability and capacity of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Teaching Laboratory within the Faculty of Physical Sciences and Engineering. The laboratory is based within the school of Electronics and Computer Science, which is currently ranked number 1 in the UK for its Electrical and Electronic Engineering undergraduate programme. We seek to procure a modern and fast instrument with extensive capability, which will help to maintain our reputation as the UK leader. The University may also wish to take out an option to purchase up to a further 80 units to be delivered on an as and when required basis, these may be ordered in bulk or single units.


Under no circumstances whatsoever will the University of Southampton be liable for or pay any expenses or costs which may be incurred (whether directly or indirectly) by the tenderer in the preparation or submission of their tender proposal.

The University of Southampton is not bound to accept the lowest offer or any tender in full or in part.

In evaluating the tender, the University will seek the most economically advantageous offers in terms of the criteria listed below:
