Tender for the supply of Gazebos & associated equipment for Batchworth Community Council commencing April 2022
We are seeking tenders for the supply of gazebos and associated equipment to be used for a regular local market to be established in the local High Street as part of the efforts to regenerate the High Street after the COVID restrictions.
The COVID restrictions have changed consumer buying habits and footfall in the High Street has been reduced. The council is establishing a regular farmers/local produce market to revive the centre of Rickmansworth. Markets in adjoining locations are popular with local residents in those areas and have had a big impact on footfall in High streets. A market in Rickmansworth will also help encourage new and more diverse retailers and generally make the centre more vibrant. The market will offer a wider price point range and different products to those already existing in our shops and available on the internet.
The council is intending to purchase gazebos and associated equipment to be used by stall holders.
The tender covers the provision of up to 40 white gazebos suitable for stallholders operating in an outdoor local market throughout the year.
The council will require a mix of 2m2 and 3m2 sizes, suitable for regular use winter and summer. They should include gazebo sidewalls, branding on the front valance of each gazebo and carry bags. The branding will include text and logo images, printed in several colours.
We are also looking to purchase the following equipment:
• Tables: Up to 40 folding portable tables (6 ft length), one per gazebo
• Table covers / Valances. Up to 40, one for each table
• Weights. Up to 160 weights (4 to secure each gazebo
• Electrical Lights. Up to 40 Battery operated LED lighting arrays, one for each gazebo.
