Description

Leicester City Council invites Quotations for the design and installation of banquette-style seating to be built into four foyer alcoves, two on the ground floor and two on the first floor for De Montfort Hall.

In the inner sides of the two first-floor alcoves, a worktop/bar with enclosed shelves in a lockable cupboard underneath will also need to be designed and installed. The functionality of this is for drinks to be lined up ready for audience members to collect quickly when the show goes to interval. These "bars" therefore act as a collection point for customers' interval drinks. These worktops/bars however are not required for the two ground floor alcoves.

The design and installation of banquette-style seating will need to complement the Edwardian building, using classic lines to reflect the wooden hand rail on the staircases, as well as the box office. These are to be installed into four alcoves (approximately 8 metres in width and 4 metres in length).

The contract is split into two Lots.

Lot 1 Alcove Seating
Lot 2 Two side worktops/bars with storage solution

Both requirements (i.e. Lots 1 and 2) will be awarded to a single Supplier.
