Woodbridge Town Council are seeking a contractor to install a pedestrian footbridge 3.5m long and 2.5m wide.

Woodbridge Town Council are seeking a new bridge to replace the old bridge as shown in the attached photo, which was removed last year due to safety issues.

We would like to see the new bridge constructed out of wood/ concrete or metal, with hand rails on either side.

The attached technical drawings as supplied to us by local architects suggests the bridge is 3.5m long and 2.5 wide.

The new bridge should link up with the footpath already in situ, and be of level gradient to allow step free access.

We have also advertised for a culvert and are open minded to which is the best option.

Potential contractors are welcome to ask questions in regards to the project.
