Description
This is not a tender, this is a request for information. The council are seeking to deliver a major flood alleviation scheme known as the Marlow Newt Ditch in Buckinghamshire. This multi-million-pound scheme is jointly funded by the Environment Agency and Buckinghamshire Council. The scheme has been through the preliminary design stage and submitted to the Local Planning Authority to secure the necessary planning permissions, with planning due by the end of Summer 2025, construction starting in later 2025 with completion late 2026. The scheme will be a combination of drainage, resurfacing and civil engineering works. The Council is keen to engage the market to stimulate interest, understand challenges and opportunities that may enhance the proposed works, whilst providing value for money are welcome at this stage.
