Description
Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office. BF operate a fleet of five (5) Cutters. The requirement is to supply and install a Simrad Navigation, Surveillance and Tactical Radar (NSTR) on each of the Border Force Cutter (5 in total) as well as providing 3 years maintenance.
The full package of works required is detailed in the attached C20719 - Statement of Requirements - Simrad NSTR.
The goods should be delivered to the address below before the 28th March 2021;
FAO: Marlon Johnson, Border Force, Unit 1 Murrills Industrial Estate, Portchester, PO16 9RD
Due to the operational Working Locations of the Cutters, the installation is to be undertaken, prior to the 30th June 2021, at a location to be determined within the United Kingdom. For the purposes of pricing please assume for the installation to be carried out in Portsmouth, UK.
Bidders are required to submit their written quotations in both .pdf and .docx formats.
The purpose of this notice is to make the SoR available to, and invite, potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully itemised written quotation for the complete and specified work package. The quotation is to be submitted in currency, GBP.
Potential suppliers are invited to send an email to; Adam Jones, Home Office Commercial at adam.jones43@homeoffice.gov.uk providing an itemised quotation.
Furthermore, in order to qualify as a compliant bid, Suppliers are required to agree to the use of the Authorities short form terms and conditions that are attached to this notice.
Proposals should be submitted via email to Adam Jones, at the address above, no later than: 5:00pm BST, Friday 19th March 2021.
Please note that the Authority reserves the right to withdraw this requirement during any stage of this process.
