Description

Essex County Council (ECC) are inviting tenders for the Design and Build of Shenfield Library including construction of a commercial unit and 9 flats above, with car parking including all drainage, associated services, external works.

The Works will be assigned in their entirety to the successful contractor who will be required to enter into a single lump sum fixed price contract with Essex County Council under the terms and conditions of the JCT Design and Build Form of Contract 2016 Edition (as suitably amended).

The demolition of the Library Building will be undertaken separately from the subject Design and Build Contract.

Planning has been approved by Essex County Council for the project under reference CC/BRW/30/21 dated 23rd July 2021.
