Description

This Contract is for the provision of Enforcement Agency Services. These services are required to collect debts due to Devon County Council (DCC) and Exeter City Council (ECC) from Debtors failing to pay outstanding charges for civil traffic and moving traffic contraventions.

It is the intention of DCC to award this contract to two Suppliers to cover the geographical areas of both England and Wales. If a Bidder submits a bid but cannot cover the geographical areas of both England and Wales they will not be considered for contract award. DCC may require the Supplier to collect debts on behalf of other clients within the geographical constraints of Devon throughout the duration of this Contract.

DCC is looking to award a Contract for an initial period of three years. There will be the option to extend the Contract for 1 year + 1 year at the discretion of DCC.

The Suppliers will be required to execute the Warrants of control obtained by DCC against motorists who have failed to pay fines issued for civil traffic and moving traffic conventions and to dispose of impounded cars and goods on a non-commercial basis from time to time as instructed.

This is a below threshold Concession Contract
