Description

Salford City Council is looking to appoint a contractor to provide the Council with service to collect and dispose of its waste from the Highways services depot. The contract term will be 24 months with an optional extension period of 12 months.

The purpose of this tender process is to identify and establish a suitably qualified contractor to provide waste collection and disposal services to Salford City Council. It is intended to appoint a single contractor to deliver this service.

The council requires the following waste collections from the Highways depot :
• General Construction waste
• Soil
• Hardcore
• Tree Mulch
• Recyclable metals (Iron, Aluminium, Copper wire scrap and others)
