Description

The City of London Homeless and Rough Sleeper Service has undertaken, as part of the successful bid to DLUHC for Rough Sleeper funding under Rough Sleeper Initiative 2022 - 2025, to research and commission a Co-production project to operate within the homeless / rough sleeper pathway and wider homelessness team. The Research element of this has now been completed and reported back to Head of Homelessness and Rough Sleeping with a set of recommendations which form the core of the design of a new service.

The aim of the project will be to galvanise City of London homeless pathway service users and providers to increase the levels of service user involvement in our projects across the board, and work towards a state where co-production of services from design to finish is the norm.

To this end, the resultant commissioned service will work across all aspects of the pathway with Outreach, Peripatetic Services, Accommodation based and Complimentary services increasing awareness and support for users to become involved, but equally with City of London officers and teams to ensure that access to decision making and influence is welcomed and broadened.
