Description

The short stay flat at Campbell Place aims to provide an opportunity to experience living in an Extra Care scheme for a maximum of 8 weeks with a view of encouraging subsequent applications to a relevant housing authority for permanent residence.

This is a new service and a proof of concept pilot project aimed at utilising newly available spare accommodation in an Extra care scheme as short term rather than permanent accommodation to meet the respite needs of people discharged from hospital who may benefit from reablement in a domestic rather than residential care environment.
