Description
Matlock Town Council, working with Derbyshire Dales Community Energy have ambition to create a community energy organisation for Derbyshire Dales: which will create renewable community energy systems throughout the district and distribute the profits for the benefit of the community.
As a first step we wish to create a working model of a renewable energy project which can then be replicated throughout the Derbyshire Dales district and potentially into the Peak District National Park.
The intention is that a community energy organisation will be set up. This organisation will (a) raise funds from the local community - so that as many people can participate as possible and (b) distribute profits to the local community for projects that benefit the community and promote carbon neutrality in the Matlock area.
MTC seek budgetary estimates from a suitably skilled and experienced consultancy for the production of an initial feasibility report on the above project. The report will need to be in the standardised RCEF Stage 1 Feasibility Report Structure.
Please see attached document which contains a fuller project brief and terms of reference. The standard RCEF Feasibility Report Structure is also attached.
Funding for this feasibility study is subject to a successful application to the RCEF. The start and end dates given are indicative only.
