Description

We seek to procure an integrated optical system to replace a single‐frequency DFB fibre oscillator in order to provide a source with a wider spectrum and a shorter coherence length. This source will provide a fibre‐coupled output and is likely to consist of fiberised components. The main output characteristics are:
• Temporal characteristic: cw
• Central wavelength: 1030 nm, see Section 2.2 for details.
• Spectral width: about 1 nm, for details see Section 2.2.
• Linearly polarised.
• Output power 20mW
• Stable output power and spectrum.
• Output delivery: in single mode, polarisation maintaining fibre with SC/APC connector, with polarisation extinction ratio (PER) > 20dB.
