Description

The Snow Hill Growth Strategy project is concerned with the creation of a development proposition for the regeneration of Birmingham's Snow Hill district identified as one of the five areas for major transformation in Birmingham City Centre, as demonstrated in the Big City Plan, the Snow Hill district has the potential to deliver sustainable growth; improved connectivity; new residential communities and a diversified economic base.

The project aims to create a development proposition focussed on the transformation of Snow Hill Station and its immediate environment. A number of development options for the site have been considered following the Governance for Railway Investment Projects (GRIP) stages 2 and 3. The viability of these options assessed, and a preferred option is to be the subject of an outline business case, which will be considered before progressing the project.

A combined 3D modelling and interactive mapping exercise is required for Snow Hill Station and the surrounding land to ascertain accurate and detailed property ownership rights.

The 3D model must be accessible, representative of the site area and allow for the incorporation of associated data to be mapped out, including land registry information and valuations.

An interactive mapping exercise is required to support the development of the 3D model, and in particular for the implementation of a graphical user interface to display 3D elements representing the extents of the HM Land Registry (HMLR) title interests and to allow the user to clearly see the HMLR textual information. The graphical user interface is also required to allow the user to control the visibility and functional elements of the relevant data. In addition, the mapping is to include capabilities to quantify and visualise relevant data levels for each interest .
