Description

The Council is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of short breaks for children and young people with disabilities (CWD) aged 5 to 17 years who live in Norfolk.
Full details of the requirement can be found in Schedule 2 - Service Specification, which forms a Schedule to the Terms and Conditions.
Norfolk County Council's existing Framework Agreement covering Short Breaks expires on the 31st of March 2023 and will be replaced by this Framework which commences on the 1st of April 2023.
The Council wishes to commission a range of high quality, outcome-focused, inclusive Short Breaks across Norfolk to support its vision:
"To provide opportunities where children and young people with disabilities can thrive, grow, achieve, and have fun in the community with their peers, whilst supporting their families to have a break from caring."
(Norfolk County Council's Short Breaks Strategy 2023-2026, due to be published in April 2023)
Ensuring Short Breaks provide the right opportunities, at the right time, in the right place, for the right groups and individuals is key to achieving our vision.
