Description

* To provide a Total Waste Management service for all clinical, general, recycling, sanitary and confidential waste streams.
* To service c. 150 sites and c. 500 pharmacies in England in Wales. Current spend c. GBP 1M per annum.
* To identify, recommend and manage waste contractors and negotiate supply contracts on behalf of CGL
* To ensure that all waste is handled and disposed of in accordance with relevant legislation and good industry practice
* Provide ongoing strategic and operational account management
* Mobilisation of new CGL acquisitions and support decommissions
* Auditing of existing premises and new acquisitions to ensure waste collections are pitched at the right level
* Welcome packs, collection schedules, laminates and training for staff promoting best practice, provided at local level
* Secure handling and recording of waste documentation, held on site and on a secure online platform
* Management information, reports and performance metrics to support the contract
