Description

Camden Council is intending to award Contracts for the provision of long term care and support in Camden West (Lot 1a) and Camden North East (Lot 1c). The initial term will be for four and a half years with the oprtion to extend for a further two periods of one-year each.

It is anticipated that within the first 2 years of the contract, providers will also deliver Continuing Health Care care packages.
The Services come under Chapter 3, Section 7 (Social and Other Specific Services) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Under Regulation 76, Camden Council may determine the procedure to be applied in connection with the award of the Contracts.

About the buyer's selection process:
The process will be a two stage process with evaluation being against selection criteria and award criteria. Full details are in the Instructions to Tenderers. Selection criteria consists of questions assessed both on a pass/fail and scored basis. Tenderers will be required to meet the minimum standards specified within the selection criteria and be ranked six or higher (based on the assessed scores at selection stage) prior to their Tender being considered for evaluation against the award criteria. Following assessment of the selection criteria, Camden Council intends to then evaluate the Tenders of the six highest scoring organisations from the selection criteria for each Lot.
