Description

The NLS Starcross Laboratory (Staplake Mount, Starcross Exeter, EX6 8FD) has a requirement for two automated Gas Chromatographs with Mass Spectrometric detectors coupled with fully integrated extraction and injection systems capable of "liquid / liquid" extraction and derivatisation such as alkylation and pentafluorobenzylation.
Each piece of equipment shall comprise of a heated Gas Chromatograph oven with dual injector ports, mass spectrometric detector and an auto-sampler capable of in-line extraction. All aspects of the equipment must conform to the requirements of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Automated Laboratory Practice (GALP) and meet the requirements of the international standard BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories).
