Description

Tamworth Borough Council has an ambitious plan to reinvent the way it manages its collections and archives and requires a Contractor with an experienced group of collections and archives specialists to embark on this work. The Contractor will undertake a rapid review of Tamworth Castle's museum collections and archives before preparing and carrying out a series of strategies/ action plans; to ensure preparedness for re-accreditation, to ensure full digitisation of the collection (currently c.40,000 items) and to create an effective and actionable approach to disposals.
