Description
Worcestershire County Council has a range of Variable Message Signs (VMS) and Vehicle Activated Signs (VAS) equipment installed on the highway throughout the County. This equipment is varied in age and condition. It has been identified that a single supplier for VMS and VAS together with a maintenance contract option will improve the asset management of this type of equipment.
The successful tenderer will supply new VMS and VAS equipment throughout the life of the contract, provide a central system for asset management including remote fault monitoring and VMS message setting, repair and maintain the on highway VMS and VAS equipment for the life of the contract.
