Description

The Council delivers services throughout Oxfordshire through a wide range of buildings, e.g. County Hall, fire stations, libraries, schools, etc. The corporate buildings are managed by the Joint Property Team within the Commercial Development Assets and Investments team.
This service is to provide an asbestos removal and remedial works service for Oxfordshire County Council (OCC).
The service is required to ensure that the council understands the current condition of asbestos in its portfolio to mitigate risk, comply with current asbestos regulations and to support future programmes of works to ensure that the buildings are suitable for future operational activity, including -
The removal of asbestos containing products from buildings as identified by the OCC Asbestos Consultant to ensure ongoing management of the portfolio in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
