Description

LCC is tendering for a specialist HIV support and prevention service to be delivered to the residents of Lancashire for adults (aged 18 and above) living with or wanting preventative support with HIV. The services will support people to live well with HIV and to educate and advise the families/significant others of those living with HIV in the management and understanding of this long-term condition. Further, the Services will promote and facilitate prevention methods in line with emerging drugs/drug trials, digital enhancements, targeted and outreach approaches. The service will provide support to people diagnosed or waiting for a diagnosis of HIV in terms of their Health, social, economic, emotional wellbeing. The service will deliver outreach work in public sex environments promoting safer sex and HIV / BBV testing.
